HOW BIG WAS THE BREXIT?

Before we succumb to panic, the widespread impact of the Brexit must be kept in economic perspective. The UK currently produces less than 4% of global GDP, and accounts for less than 6% of world market capitalization. Despite undulation in the stock markets following the Brexit referendum on June 23rd, stock prices have rebounded in the following days. The UK has yet to start negotiations determining the terms of their exit, a process that will likely take years.
